Sierra's Visit

My friend Sierra came over to my house this weekend for a visit! It was her first time here and we had sooooo much fun! You see, her Mom was working out of town and couldn't get home in time to get her before the place she was staying closed so my Mom picked her up and she came to hang out with us for a little bit.

We played in my backyard,

told each other secrets,

and we even went for a walk together!

We went for a walk to see the fire. A building not far from where I live caught on fire and we could see the huge black, smoke cloud from my house so we went to check it out along with the rest of the town. There are never that many cars on that road until something like this happens. I guess that's what ya get in a small town. ;) Hey, at least we walked and got some exercise instead of doing a drive by.

We didn't get too close because Mom made Dad stop....she said we shouldn't go any closer.

Sierra: WHOA, I have never seen a fire...I am shocked.

Nala: Ummmm, I know I like warm places but this is a little scary!

Sierra: Still in shock.

Nala: Come on, let's get out of here please! I can't take it! I prefer the warmth of the heater and a nice blanket.

Finally, we left and came back to my backyard to play some more. See my pink ball I got from the Dughallmor beagles!

Nala: Hey Sierra, check out my new pink ball!!

Sierra: Ummmm, I'm really not into pink balls.

Nala: Oh, you know you want it!

Sierra: Ummm, I really don't.

Nala: HA HA, I know you want it but you will never catch me!! Come on, just try!

Sierra: Did she hear anything I said?

What an exciting day! A fire, a friend, a walk, and some ball playing. I just hope there were also some treats.

We see you had lots of fun with sierra - did you whisper in her ear to come back again soon to play some more?

Too bad about the fire, hope no one was hurt.

You and Sierra are so cute together, and you seem to get a long great too. How great is that! I don't blame you for not wanting to get any closer to the burning building... scary! Have a great week! Stinkin' kisses from Alih & James

Is Sierra your BFF? Looks like it.

Um, Nala, I could not help but notice that you appear to be, um, NEKKED in your backyard. Oh baby!

Haha Nala, you are the coolest! I would LOVE to have a grab at that pink ball! Dennis Mugu does exactly what Sierra does, he pretends he doesn't want it, although I know he's dying for it! We RRs just sense those things intuitively! For who would die to have such a cool instrument in one's mouth? I LOVE carrying things around by the way. Mom is always finding something for me to carry when we're on our way something (but I've figured out that this is not because she is so super kind that she wants to please me in any way, but because she doesn't like the things I find on my own, lol!).

Ha ha, still smiling over the last two pictures - what a bouncy ball that is, makes me want to bounce myself!!!!

Warm greetings from Africa,
Sheba
