Backtracking

I am going to go back a couple of weeks because I want to introduce you to my newest furiend! Meet Bailey....she's a Labradoodle! Isn't she super cute?! She is even cuter when her hair is all wet from running through the sprinkler. Me, I would look the same after running through the sprinkler but I ASSURE you that I will NEVER run through any sprinklers! Nope, not me....I prefer to sit back and watch other dogs like Bailey enjoy the scary, wet stuff that comes from above. Bailey belongs to the family of my Mom's teaching partner and boy do her humans adore her....especially Miss L. They are so sweet together. Side note: Hey Mom, when do I get a little human to play with?? ;)

Here are those sweet little humans I mentioned earlier! They were fun to play with too!

I love the one of Bailey and Miss L. face to face as the water sprays down on them....the expression on Miss L's face is great! Hopefully, we can play again soon!

While I am going back, I also want to thank the gang over at Life with Dogs for this great award! What an honor! I think I got a couple more but this is the only one I reminded Mom to right click and save so now we forget but thanks to anyone who thought of us on their blogs. :) We blame it on the wedding hoopla! ;)

Also, a few people have asked questions about the wedding so we thought we would explain here. :)

First, I want to make sure that everyone knows the "gross" comments about me licking Mom were all said in a joking manner. We thought it was funny!

Now to the wedding details:

The wedding took place on a mountaintop fairly close to where we live. There is a one lane curvy road all the way to the top so we drove there. First, my Uncle Joel who got ordained online and married my pawrents, drove up with Aunt Etsuko and they made sure the location was good. No people, no wind! Otherwise, we had a couple of backups at various spots on the mountain. They set up the flowers and stuff and waited. Dad and I led the rest of the guests up and my Nanny drove my Mom up because Mom took up the whole backseat with her dress. :) It was very low key....just the way my pawrents wanted it but perfect nonetheless. The skies were gorgeous, the lupine and desert parsley were in bloom, and love was in the air. BOL! Ok, I had to get a bit cheesy there...excuse me. After the brief ceremony and pictures we headed down the mountain and had dinner at a local Italian restaurant...well, when I say we that technically doesn't include me. I had dinner at home. :( BOOHOO! Oh well, I guess I had to take one for the team. :) There were a few mosquitoes but nothing we couldn't handle. Overall, it was a magical day and I for one am glad my pawrents decided to do it the way they did so I could be part of it! WOOF!!

Loved seeing Bailey in the spray. Jana is with you Nala, that kind of thing is just way too wet!

I had wondered how the wedding party got to the top of the mountain. It was, without doubt, a unique wedding. A really unforgettable day and a very happy one too.....by the look of it. Congratulations again, wishing you a long and happy married life.

The wedding sounds like it was perfect! I think it's wonderful you got to be in it Nala and you have inspired me that when I get married my pup will be in my wedding too! Bailey is a handsome boy. I dogsat a labradoodle and he had the nicest personality. What a great breed!

That sounds like a perfect wedding. My parents only had 8 people at their wedding, however Steve and I were not there. So your parents did it better.
