My cousin Mickey has gone to the Rainbow Bridge where I know he is running and chasing tennis balls to his heart's content. Mickey passed away peacefully yesterday. He was 13. Although I only really got to see Mickey during the holidays, I can tell you what a sweet-natured and loving boy he was. He also loved his family very much as they loved him. He loved chasing tennis balls too, but I guess that comes with the territory when you are a Retriever. ;) The picture above is from two winters ago when we were outside playing. Mickey was busy watching for a tennis ball to be thrown while I was busy watching for him to make a move. :) It's obvious from his face what a sweet boy he was...don't you think.
We will all miss you Mickey...you will forever be in our hearts.
Also...Ed, Alison, Dakota, & Sarah, we are thinking of you and hope your hearts will find a way to heal.
