Note to Self: Don't Play in the Mud Unless You Want a Bath!

Nala!

That's what I tell myself every time I have a bath after playing in the mud. And yet... I seem to forget it the next day. Ugh, I hate baths.

Baths are horrible but one can have so much fun in the mud... so it's a tough choice according to Alih and James. :)

By the way, the 2 pics of Nala from behind are really nice. You're an artist.

Lucky for me, I have self-cleaning fur. It's great. I get dirty and Mom banishes me to outside for a little bit and then I dry and like magic, I'm clean again! Maybe you should get a self-cleaning fur coat to wear when you're going to be muddy.

Oh Nala, I grieve with you! I love mud too but thankfully I've managed to avoid baths because of them (so far). I have not managed to avoid a few showers, although my mom has to keep them to a minimum. Instead, I get all dusty - ALL the time, as I am constantly rolling in the sand! But fortunately, my mom has discovered that she can wipe it all off with a moist cloth. Hence, no daily baths for me! But you poor, poor thing! And there you were, having such a great time!

Speaking of not so fun things, my mom just posted this series of me, calling it a skywatch, even though it's actually me in the perfect hunting position, and not being allowed to go for it!

It doesn't look like a bath is your favourite thing, Nala! Better avoid the mud next time.

Jana has yet to experience the full horror of the bath, she cleans up easily.....even that smelly stuff she rolled in!

Oh Nala! I've had to have two baths (well showers actually!) in the last week, once for lying in something Muzzle said smelled horrid and once the very next day for finding a big mud puddle!

It hasn't put me off mud though, I LOVE mud. I do usually have self-cleaning hair and it's left to dry/toweled off, but it was just too smelly/muddy this time.

Rut roh, Nala, baths are no fun. We are like Steve and Kat, once we dry the mud disappears. But Thunder seems to have problems with the Kansas clay-like soil getting stuck in his claws and between the pads - Mom hates that.

Hey Nala, we don't like bananas unless they are mixed in a cookie or something like that, and Mom only likes bananas as bananas, she really doesn't like banana bread.

Thanks for visiting us.

Hi Nala,

I went out in the park yesterday and got really muddy too! But thank goodness, my humans were really busy and couldn't give me a bath immediately - and then the mud sort of dried and fell off! So anyway, they said they might just wait until the end of the week when I was due my bath anyway...whew!
